It's a frothy first for Northwest Arkansas as two local brewing powerhouses, Fossil Cove and Ozark, have tapped into their community spirit for a good cause. In a historic move, the Fossil Cove crew made their way north to join forces with Ozark Beer Company, concocting a special Hefeweizen that's brimming with more than just bubbles; it's overflowing with goodwill.
What's the occasion, you ask? This master brew is a toast to none other than Apple Seeds Teaching Farm, the beloved local non-profit that's been planting the seeds of healthy living in young minds. As part of their preparations for the annual Evening at the Farm dinner, a fundraiser that's been a flavor-filled feature for the past decade, Apple Seeds cooked up the idea to unite these two breweries and their zest for local fare with a mission to give back.
The 11th edition of the Evening at the Farm is not just about dining under the stars or relishing the farm's harvest. It's about supporting a cause that helps cultivate tomorrow's environmentally conscious citizens.
So, what can you expect from this one-of-a-kind partnership beer? Well, it's distinctive, locally inspired, and promises to be delightfully refreshing – a Hefeweizen with a story, crafted by neighborly hands, hops, and hearts. This golden, aromatic beverage will make its grand debut in the taprooms of both Fossil Cove in Fayetteville and Ozark in Rogers on Thursday, October 10th, followed by an encore at the Evening at the Farm dinner on October 12th.
